Founded in 2017, Lake Effect has become a renowned locale in the Salt Lake valley. Our building itself is a historical part of the downtown area. Originally built in 1910 and known as the Hotel Victor, we converted the building into an elegant bar where people can mingle, eat and enjoy live music long into the night. Our aesthetic provides a vintage, classy feel while still embracing a more modern style.

In addition to fine food and drink, we promote the local art culture and invite artists to perform on our Lake Effect stage. Almost every day of the week, you can enjoy performances from experienced musicians while enjoying a fine drink, delicious food and good company.
